These policies apply to purchases and use of mika.ge. The Georgian and English texts are intended to have the same meaning. If mandatory Georgian law requires otherwise, that law prevails.

This Privacy Policy explains how the trader identified at the beginning of this document ("Mika", "we", "us") processes personal data when you browse mika.ge, contact us, or place an order.

Data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, telephone number, email, delivery and billing address.
  • Order and transaction data: products, order history, payment status, delivery details, returns and customer-service messages. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details when payment is handled by the payment provider.
  • Technical and cookie data: IP address, device/browser information, security logs and essential or preference-cookie information.

Why we use it and the legal basis

  • To take steps at your request, confirm and perform a sale, arrange payment, delivery, returns and support — necessity for a contract or pre-contract steps.
  • To issue and retain required business, accounting and tax records, respond to authorities and comply with law — legal obligation.
  • To secure the website, prevent fraud, manage claims and improve reliable service — our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
  • For non-essential cookies or direct marketing, if introduced — your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Information needed to process and deliver an order is mandatory for that purpose. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to accept or fulfil the order. Optional information will be identified as such.

Who receives data

We share only what is necessary with payment providers (including Bank of Georgia where applicable), couriers and logistics partners, website/hosting and IT providers, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. These recipients process data only for the relevant service or lawful purpose. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

If a service provider processes data outside Georgia, we will use a transfer mechanism and safeguards required by Georgian law and provide further information on request.

How long we keep data

We keep order, payment, accounting and tax records for the period required by applicable law. Customer-service and claim records are kept while needed to resolve the matter and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Security logs and cookie data are kept only for the period reasonably necessary for their purpose. When retention is no longer justified, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to Georgian law, you may ask whether we process your data and request access or a copy; information about the processing; correction, updating or completion; termination of processing, deletion or destruction; blocking; data portability where applicable; and withdrawal of consent. You may object to or challenge certain processing and automated decisions where applicable. Some rights may be limited where retention or processing is required by law or necessary for legal claims or another lawful ground.

Send requests to hi@mika.ge. We may verify your identity and will respond within the period required by law. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia or apply to a court.

Security, children and changes

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect data. Mika is not intended to knowingly collect children’s data without the legally required authority. We may update this policy; the current version and effective date will appear on the website.
