These policies apply to purchases and use of mika.ge. The Georgian and English texts are intended to have the same meaning. If mandatory Georgian law requires otherwise, that law prevails.
14-day withdrawal for distance purchases
Unless a statutory exception applies, a consumer may withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the day the consumer, or a person nominated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods. For a single order delivered in parts, the period starts when the last part is received.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to hi@mika.ge before the deadline. Include your name, order and receipt dates, address and order number if available. We will acknowledge an electronic withdrawal notice in a durable medium.
Sending goods back and their condition
Return the goods without undue delay and no later than 7 calendar days after notifying us, unless we offer to collect them. For a change-of-mind withdrawal, you bear the direct return cost. Handle goods only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond that; original packaging and labels help protect the goods but are not, by themselves, an absolute condition of the statutory right.
Refunds after withdrawal
We will reimburse all payments received for the returned goods, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where applicable, without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after we are informed of the withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence of sending them, whichever occurs first, unless we offered collection. Refunds use the original payment method unless you agree otherwise and incur no additional fee. Extra delivery cost chosen above our standard option is not refundable.
Statutory exceptions
The 14-day change-of-mind right does not apply where Georgian law excludes it. Relevant examples may include goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised; goods liable to deteriorate rapidly; and tightly sealed goods that, after unsealing, are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons. An exception applies only where its legal conditions are met. It does not remove rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods. For handmade jewellery this typically means: pierced earrings and similar items sealed for hygiene cannot be returned for change of mind once unsealed, and pieces made to your specification or personalised (custom sizing, engraving, chosen stones) are excluded. Ready-made, unsealed pieces remain fully returnable within 14 days.
Defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods
If goods do not conform to the contract, Georgian law gives you remedies separate from the 14-day withdrawal right. Depending on the circumstances, you may request free repair or replacement, a price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract. Repair or replacement must be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience where required by law. Statutory rights may apply to defects discovered within two years after delivery; legal rules determine proof and the appropriate remedy. We bear justified return or remedy costs for defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods.
Contact hi@mika.ge with your order details and, where useful, photographs. We may inspect the item, but we will not require evidence that Georgian law does not permit us to require.
